No one works for free, this a business and nowadays bands don't make money on selling cd´s due to the internet, they earn it through the sales of novelty items and t-shirt sales and concert ticket sales. my suggestion would be that the band offer platinum tickets, where the fans buy the opportunity to meet the band,then everyone would have a chance to meet the band, lots of artist are doing this as a way of earning extra income. I live in Germany and cd´s here cost $26.50, so $8.99 for a cd is not much at all. Hope the band can make it to Bremen Germany for a gig that would be awsome.
