Fresh off landing at #30 on Billboard with The Infection, CHIMAIRA are proud to announce summer tour dates supporting Hatebreed on the Decimation of the Nation tour! The brutal tour also features heavy hitters Winds of Plague, Dying Fetus, and Toxic Holocaust. CHIMAIRA hits the road this summer, kicking off the tour July 31 in Rochester, NY.
Vocalist Mark Hunter commented on the upcoming US run with Hatebreed: “I think it’s safe to say we’re pretty amped up to do a full tour with Hatebreed. We’ve been doing shows with them since 2000, but we’ve never done a full tour. We’ve talked about it for a long time, but haven’t ever been able to get it together until now. They’re a big influence, and at the same time, they’re some of our best friends in the industry. I hope there are plenty of EMTs on site, cuz when the two of us roll into town, nobody’s safe!”
The brand-new video for ‘Destroy And Dominate’ will go live today at 12PM PST and is available at the band’s official MySpace, www.myspace.com/chimaira. CHIMAIRA tapped their longtime videographer Todd Bell to direct and film.
The Infection will be released on limited edition picture disc TODAY. The 12” vinyl disc can be purchased in stores and at this location.
