Dear Russian Fans

Much to our despair, we’ve been denied entry into Russia to perform for our patient and metal starved fans. After having to postpone the original dates from October 2009, we’ve had plenty of time to prepare for this trip. Everything has been in place for weeks now…The gear has been ordered, the flights have been booked, and we’re HERE, on the European continent, ready to depart for St. Petersburg tomorrow morning. But to our absolute dismay and MASSIVE financial burden, the Russian Embassy has refused to issue us our visas. Nice timing right? And after our road manager spending three days at the Embassy searching for answers and resolution, we’ve basically been given the middle finger, and there’s nothing further we can do. Our biggest regret is for the fans who have been waiting months for this weekend to come, and we hope they can understand that we’ve exhausted every option to correct the situation. Please accept our deepest apologies, we’ll try to make it up to you all one day.

It’s not your blame for 100%.
Next time ask KoЯn, Deftones and other bands how they got visas.
    It’s all about politic.
The same shit was with Garbage here in 90’s.
Chris, anyway still waiting for you all here because in spite of this troubles Russia is very beautiful country.

  • casey - March 25th, 2010 at 4:55 pm

  • casey - March 25th, 2010 at 5:00 pm

russians these days…btw you guys are my favorite band

  • kostya - March 29th, 2010 at 2:25 pm

“Privet” Chris, couldn’t answer you earlier. Here is alot of people waiting for you from autumn and ware realy disappointed about your show cancel. Almost all tickets in St-Petersburg were sold out.
So what to say? As you say sometimes – “Shit happens”.
The same situation was with Garbage in 90’s and HIM. Think about it like about accident. Probably it’s sign to come back in third time and make super show.
Chris say hello to all band and please come again. Don’t forget to ask (hed) P.E. (Apr. 10), Lamb of God (May 28) and Fear Factory (June 28) how did they get visas ))).
    Waiting for you.

Yeah, sometimes life can get really tough. Thank you, guys, for doing your best to break through the bureaucratic obstacles and trying to get to us. We still love you, listen to your music, and hope that some day we’ll meet in spite of all these damned things that prevent us from doing it. Keep on rocking!
